An Angel and Two or More Disasters

Around him life went on; the trees stretched their aching limbs to the sky, the creatures of Life were birthed and raised and eventually doomed to die, wars were raged and Souls were lost, but he did not stir. Occasionally something would stumble upon his divine figure, hiding away in the shadows of the foliage. A doe would stop until something startled it, a bird would fluff its feathers upon his wings until it realized there was an odd creeping sensation moving up its spine, a wolf would rest at his feet in the nights when it was alone with no pack of its own to hear its weeping howls. Every few decades one of man would stumble upon the clearing, as well, but they would linger for a moment before being frightened off by some unnatural aura that clung to the air; the aura of a fallen angel.
